Carpool Network

The Mills Carpool Network is offered as a way to save money in these times of rising gas prices and reduce the number of vehicles arriving on campus each day. This program captures preferred pickup/drop-off locations and offers them to others.

How to Enroll:

  1. Log into the Mills Portal
  2. In the 'myMILLS Resources' section of the page, click the 'The Mills Carpool Network' link
  3. Choose the option to Drive or Ride or check both
  4. Briefly describe your convenient pick up locations
  5. Input your schedule
  6. Select your city and zip code
  7. Click 'Submit'

Using the Carpool Network

The system will provide matches near you or along the route of your commute, you can select the likely matches and the system will email them. When you choose to participate, you only need to give out your name or email address if you elect to connect with others already in the system. Otherwise, you remain anonymous, even when you receive email messages from others seeking to carpool with you.

Please note: if there aren't any matches for you right away, you will need to check back to see if there are any new matches. Also, if you have a full car or no longer wish to participate, you will need to remove yourself from being matched and the system will not notify your carpool that you've unenrolled.
