Summer Tuition

Tuition Rates and Administrative Fees

Mills offers a limited number of courses and academic opportunities during its summer term.  

Summer Session I
Monday, May 15, 2017–Friday, June 23, 2017 
For Education (EDUC) courses ONLY

Summer Session II
Monday, May 15, 2017–Friday, June 30, 2017 
For Management (MGMT) courses ONLY

Summer Session III
Tuesday, May 30, 2017–Monday, July 14, 2017 
For all other courses

Payments

The payment deadline for Summer Session I & II for payments in full is May 1, 2017.

The payment deadline for Summer Session III for payments in full is May 15, 2017

A three month Payment plan is available that runs from May 1– July 1, 2017. There is 3% enrollment fee.

*Summer housing students must pay their summer balance in full or set up a payment plan before moving into their summer housing.  Students who have not paid or arranged payment for their summer charges before their move in date, will not be cleared and are subject to losing their housing. If you have any questions or would like to make payment arrangements, please contact Student Accounts at stuaccts@mills.edu.

Financial Aid

Mills loans will be offered to all registered students to cover the amount of tuition only.  Any adjustments to tuition charges resulting in a decrease will automatically result in an equal decrease on the Mills loan amount.  Non-tuition fees and administrative fees will not be covered by a Mills loan.  

The costs for the summer 2017 term are:

Undergraduate and Graduate courses listed in the summer course schedule $850/credit

Housing and meal plans are available through the Housing Management and Dining Services office.

 

Tuition Adjustment Policy

Students who drop their summer course(s) will have their tuition charges adjusted as follows:

Summer Session I and II

First day of instruction through add deadline (Monday, May 15, 2017 to Friday, May 19, 2017)

Credited 90% of tuition charges only

Fees will not be credited

After add deadline through drop deadline (Saturday, May 20, 2017 to Tuesday, May 23, 2017)

Credited 50% of tuition charges only

Fees will not be credited

After drop deadline (Tuesday, May 23, 2017) No credit

Once a student registers there is no adjustment to administrative fees associated with independent studies, internships and directed research.

For all other courses
