January Tuition

Tuition Rates and Administrative Fees

Mills offers a limited number of courses and academic opportunities during its January term. The payment deadline for January term is December 19, 2018.  The costs for the January 2019 term are:

Undergraduate  $600/credit
Graduate $850/credit

Campus Comprehensive Fee 

$20

Audit Fee

$750/course

Some courses may have additional fees associated with their specific program or for supplies. These course
fees are listed under the course description in the January Term course schedule.

There will be additional charges for housing if you are living on-campus during January Term. Please contact HMDS at housing@mills.edu for rates and housing contract information.

Students who do not meet the December 19, 2018 payment deadline will be dropped for non-payment from
all their courses on December 20, 2018.

Payment Plans

  • The first option, which you can enroll in via the Mills Resource Portal divides your January term balance into two equal payments due on December 18, 2018, and January 2, 2019. There is an enrollment fee of 3% of your payment plan balance due upon enrollment.
  • The second option combines your January term balance and your Spring 2019 semester balance into one seven-month payment plan starting December 19, 2018–June 15, 2019. This plan can only be set up by a Student Accounts staff member. You must contact stuaccts@mills.edu or stop by our office during regular hours. There is an enrollment fee of 3% of your payment plan balance due upon enrollment.
  • The third option is only available to students with an anticipated spring refund in the amount of their January term balance or greater who agree in writing to use those funds to directly pay for the January term balance. This option is only available in person with a Student Accounts staff member. You must contact stuaccts@mills.edu or stop by our office during regular hours.

Tuition Adjustment Policy

Students who drop their January term course(s) will have their tuition charges adjusted as follows:
