Microsoft Office 365

Mills students, faculty, and staff can use Office 365 with a free subscription for Macs and PCs.

Note that to qualify for Office 365 and to keep any Office downloads active, you must either be a current student or a current employee (faculty or staff).

Why Use Office 365?

Office 365 offers anywhere access to a suite of Microsoft tools, including online subscription-based versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, and Access.

If you already have the latest version of Microsoft Office (2016), the Mills ITS department recommends that you continue to use that copy. But, if you don't have it installed or have other devices you'd like to use Microsoft Office on, you can use the free subscription to download Office for Mac or PC at no charge.

Your free subscription from Mills College will let you download Office on up to five different computers, any combination of Mac, PC, or mobile devices.

The applications available through Office 365 function exactly like their traditional Microsoft Office counterparts.
