Fall Swim Lessons

Parking:  There is no free parking on the Mills College Campus. An official parking pass for the current session is necessary at all times on the Mills College campus. See parking for more details.

Discounted parking with registration and purchase of group lessons. Register for any group lesson session, and purchase parking permit for $15 (Regular price $35)

*Competitive Swimming

In Comp Swim participants will learn strokes and skills they will need and want for comfort, technique and performance in competitive swimming. Taught in a recreational environment, the course includes stroke technique in all four competitive strokes, flip turns, lane etiquette for swim team practice meets, breath control, how to train for comfort and performance, and other competitive swimming skills. This program is designed for children ages 5-14 who are interested in the competitive swimming environment, looking for a healthy and fun exercise, and who want to learn how to become a stronger swimmer.

Basic requirements:  
Ages 5-14
Can swim at last 25 yards freestyle.  
Basic knowledge of other strokes.
Are independent in the water.  Coaches are not in the water. 

Private Swim Lessons

The Mills College Aquatic Staff are proud to announce the return of our private swim lesson program! The private lesson program has underwent a complete restructure of its content in order to provide a more stable, and organized Swim Lesson Program. We plan to continue providing safe, fun, and goal oriented swim lessons to the surrounding community. Private lesson registration has begun for our Fall Session. Please come in person to register.
