Course Description

PE 046
Personal Wellness
Fall and Spring

Students will learn how to minimize stress and anxiety and maximize feelings of well-being. Through mindfulness practices, movement, group exercises, readings and discussions, students will discover how they can be intentional and powerful, healthy and joyful, productive and playful, calm and resourceful. By encompassing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions, we will:- practice meditation and other centering techniques- enjoy different movement modalities- cultivate self care and self-acceptance- discuss healthy habits- do a creative project
