Hellman Summer Science and Math Program
Program Requirements

The two and a half-week course focuses on two core subjects: chemistry and biology, using concepts popularized by the media, namely the environment and forensic science. Students are introduced to college-level work through 40 hours of rigorous classroom instruction, which includes approximately 20 hours of laboratory time. Selected college students who will benefit from a very rigorous college-level academic program are invited to participate (placement is determined by the College). Hellman is designed to ensure students' scholastic and personal success at Mills College.
