Digital Performance
Fall

This course combines multimedia performance making, lively theoretical debate, performance critique and elementary media programming in Isadora. From a variety of readings in new media theories, feminist film theories, gender studies, and performance studies, we examine live and mediated bodies in dance theatre, film, photography, multimedia performance art, video installation, and web-based art. Informed by a theory-in-practice model, students create experimental, multimedia performance works using live action/choreography, still projection, video, music/sound, and tex
