Course Description

BIO 091
Biological Inquiry
Spring

Designed to help students understand the process of science, including reading, discussing and presenting, while learning to navigate the scientific literature. Students will develop skills in obtaining, analyzing, synthesizing and communicating complex scientific information. Guided scientific writing will enable students to summarize the literature around a chosen thesis topic. Students will also orally present scientific data and biological mechanisms.
