Mills College is pleased to announce Summer Session 2019. These courses are open to Mills undergraduate and graduate students, alumnae/i, and the general public.

Registration Information

Current Students

Undergraduate courses are open to current Mills undergraduate students and all self-identified women. Courses designated for undergraduate and graduate level are open to graduate students of all genders. Please see the Academic Calendar for registration information and other important deadlines.

New Students, Alumnae/i, and Visiting Students

Students entering Mills in fall 2019, Alumnae/i, or visiting students who are interested in taking a course during the summer 2019 session will complete a Special Student Registration/Alumnae/i Registration Form. Please see the Academic Calendar for registration dates. Those who have a degree-in-progress at Mills and who are admitted for the fall 2019 term are not eligible for the alumnae rate.

Auditors (No Course Credit)

Auditors (including Mills alumnae auditors) wishing to register for the 2019 summer session, submit a complete Auditor Registration Form to the M Center by the add deadline. Please see the Academic Calendar for registration information and other important deadlines.

Unless otherwise required by the instructor, auditors (including alumnae auditors) do not participate in class work or take examinations. Auditors do not receive credit and they may not subsequently request to receive credit by examination. Mills does not provide transcripts for auditors.

All registration forms may be submitted by one of the following methods:

  • by fax: 510.430.2003
  • scanned and emailed to records@mills.edu
  • mailed to Mills College, M Center, Carnegie Hall, 5000 MacArthur Blvd., Oakland, CA, 94613
  • dropped off in person at the M Center, Carnegie Hall, no later than June 3, 2019 at 4:00 pm.

Tuition and Fees

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to eligible students enrolled in the part time minimum number of credits in the Summer semester.  Please see the Summer Financial Aid page for more information and eligibility requirements.
