PPOL 209
The Public Policy-Making Process

The politics and major institutions involved in the formulation and execution of public undertakings. Analysis of specific public policies and the political environment within which they operate. Students will craft a policy analysis that defines and describes a public problem, assesses an existing policy in relation to that problem, and proposes a policy alternative.
