Measuring Social Impact
This one-unit course will provide an overview of social impact measurement and management for businesses and nonprofit organizations. Topics will include articulating an organization’s theory of change, and impact framework; development of metrics for individual social, community, and environmental impact; data collection systems; defining stakeholders; and communicating impact. Students will explore case studies, apply concepts with hands on exercises, and develop an impact framework and metrics for a business, organization, or program of their choice.
