Fundraising Bootcamp
Summer

This course provides students with both knowledge and practical experience in raising money for for-profit and nonprofit social ventures, with a particular emphasis on nonprofit fundraising. The wide range of potential funders and their motivations will be covered to help students understand their "audience" for funding requests. Crowdfunding and grant-writing will be introduced. Each student will present a "pitch" in class and will write a grant request or investment proposal. This course is appropriate for business students as well as for those with little or no business background.
