Law and Social Responsibility
Students will develop an understanding of how the law both constrains and empowers business by regulating business operations and enforcing societal norms. The class explores how lawyers and business leaders work together, and considers how the legal and regulatory environment affects the ethical choices that socially responsible business leaders face. The class focuses on current events as well as examples from the instructors’ experiences. An interactive discussion format challenges students to think critically and apply the law to ever-changing factual scenarios.
