Socially Responsible Business Concentration

Practitioners of socially responsible business specialize in leading change within established, for-profit businesses to ensure that these firms are aligned effectively with society’s needs. Graduates in this concentration are equipped with strong analytic skills combined with leadership and change management skills in order to create cost-effective business responses to complex problems and opportunities.

Socially Responsible Business Concentration

To earn a concentration in socially responsible business, students must take:

MGMT 272 Socially Responsible Business (3)

Plus any two of the following courses:

MGMT 238 Environmental Sustainability and Business (3)

MGMT 253 Environmental Economics (3)

MGMT 271 Funding Social Impact (3)

MGMT 274 Innovation in Business, Social, and Governmental Organizations (3)

MGMT 292 Business, Policy, and Society (3)
