Social Entrepreneurship Concentration

Social entrepreneurship focuses on the creation and cultivation of organizations to resolve unmet or evolving social needs. This discipline combines insights from entrepreneurship and policy analysis for addressing complex community problems and opportunities.

Social Entrepreneurship Concentration

To earn a concentration in social entrepreneurship, students take:

MGMT 275 Social Entrepreneurship (3)

Plus any two of the following to total at least 6 semester course credits:

MGMT 227 Negotiations (3)

MGMT 271 Funding Social Enterprise (3)

MGMT 272 Socially Responsible Business (3)

MGMT 274 Innovation in Business, Social, and Government Organizations (3)

MGMT 292 Business, Policy, and Society (3)
