CS 280B
ST: Bridging the Hardware/Software Divide
Fall

Students will combine their software programming experience with electronic hardware to create a variety of electronic devices and embedded systems. From blinking their first LED to completing the final student-driven project, students will get hands on experience working with LEDs, sensors, actuators, and wireless communication modules. Students will hone their troubleshooting skills by working through problems that arise during the design and building process. The knowledge gained in this class will provide the foundation to better understanding of how to take ideas from concept to reality.
