Course Description

CS 280A
ST: iOS Development with Swift

Design and development of mobile device applications, culminating in individual development of an iOS application for Apple devices (physical device optional). Topics will include Swift programming and design patterns; Xcode and the Simulator; Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines for UI design; data persistence; networking; threading; libraries for working with the camera, maps, and other device features; and publishing to the App Store.
