Residency Options/Requirements

Students are required to live on campus for the first two years (FR and SO). We have newer LEED-certified residence halls. Some rooms include full kitchens for apartment-style living. There are many paid student leadership opportunities through our residence life programs.

Financial Aid

Nearly all students receive aid. Of the students who receive aid, 23% receive merit-based aid and 77% receive need-based aid. To be considered for federal financial aid, students must have a copy of their FAFSA sent to Pacific University.

Transfer Requirements

As a transfer partner, Pacific has established a set of minimum requirements that current Mills students must meet to be eligible to transfer.

Undergraduate Students

Any undergraduate student currently admitted to and in good standing with Mills College will be admitted to undergraduate study at Pacific University to our programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, and College of Business.

Any undergraduate student currently admitted to and in good standing with Mills College can be admitted to Pacific’s completely online Bachelor of Health Science (BHS) degree as long as they meet the minimum entry requirements of the BHS.

Dates/Deadlines

Mills students must submit their Fast App to Pacific University by July for a fall 2022 or 2023 semester start and by December for a spring 2022 or 2023 semester start.

Admission Application

Pacific University will waive application fees for Mills undergraduate students applying to Pacific University under this agreement.

Mills students applying to Pacific University under this agreement will not be required to complete a full application for admission. Instead, Pacific University will provide students a “Fast App” to gather the necessary information for the student’s transfer to Pacific.

Mills students applying to Pacific University after fall 2023 will be required to complete the regular Common Application for Pacific.

College of Business: Interested students are encouraged to connect with our admissions team through an informational interview.

Admission Application

Graduate students transferring from Mills College to Pacific University to complete their degrees (entering in summer 2022 or fall 2022 only) may complete an abbreviated application form (“Pacific’s Fast App”) rather than completing the generally required online app.

Mills graduate students applying to Pacific University after fall 2022 will be expected to complete the traditional online application.
