Residency Options/Requirements

Lewis & Clark offers 11 residential halls on our beautiful campus. Campus Living welcomes students of all gender identities and strives to place students in the best housing arrangement based on their indicated needs and preferences. Gender-inclusive housing is available for all residential students.

As part of Lewis & Clark’s commitment to residential education, we require undergraduates to live on campus for four semesters unless they are married, are at least 21 years old, or live in the Portland area with a parent or guardian. Some exceptions may apply.

Financial Aid

In the 2020-21 academic year, 97% of undergraduate students (degree-seeking) received some form of financial support. All who received financial support received some amount of merit scholarships, and 60% of the students received some form of need-based aid.
