Academic Resources

Our academic resources are designed to create an environment that will help you succeed. Beginning with our greatest asset—our faculty—to the programs and services that deepen your learning, Mills strives to provide a transformative educational experience that will change your life.

The Mills faculty is comprised of a dedicated roster of scholars, artists, scientists, activists, entrepreneurs, policy leaders, and change makers. Your professors will be your best academic resource both inside and outside the classroom. Visit our faculty directory to learn more about their backgrounds and accomplishments.

Advising, Tutoring & Accessibility

Through our Writing and Tutoring Center, academic navigators, and Student Access and Support Services (SASS), we provide services that will create the foundation for your academic path and resources to address your unique learning needs. We offer accommodations, subject tutoring, and writing support to enhance your academic skills in the classroom and prepare you for lifelong learning.

The F. W. Olin Library is an academic center of the College with a catalog of more than 240,000 volumes and special resources for literature, music, dance, gender, sexuality, and ethnic studies. Through a variety of databases, reference books, and journals, you'll have easy online access to the tools you need for your study or research.

Engaged learning is at the core of our curriculum, and undergraduate students have a unique opportunity to get involved with scientific research. Graduate students can select programs or special projects that align with their master's thesis and their professional goals.

Study Abroad

Mills offers you the opportunity to pursue a domestic study program as well as study abroad in Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America, or Africa. Study away programs can help you broaden your learning and your world view.
